The Club: Central Alabama Schutzhund Club of Birmingham has been a full-member club of United Schutzhund Clubs of America since 1978, and is one of the oldest continuously operating schutzhund clubs in the southeast. Some of our members have been active with the club and in the sport since the founding of the club.

Saturdays 9 a.m.
Thursdays 7 p.m.

Some club members take a break at dusk under one of the large pecan trees surrounding the club's training grounds.

Our  Training Grounds  is on a gated drive off Red Lane Road. See map below and call for directions and specific meeting times.

The training grounds is the green backward-L-shaped field just to the southwest of the marked intersection on this map.   The large field across from the training grounds is our tracking field.  By navigating around on this map you can see the fields and also the nearest exit from I-59.  Directions: On Red Lane Road, find CASC sign marking driveway on left just west of Dalton Road intersection (traffic signal).  Take driveway back to training grounds. Gate is locked when club is not meeting.

CASC Events

TRIALS: The club holds a schutzhund trial annually and training seminars at intervals through the year.

Our annual winter trial will be Dec. 15, 2007 with
FCI Judge Rinus Bastiaansen. Watch for details.
